Hosting MTV Music Countdown

Recently, MTV approached us and asked if we’d like to guest host a music countdown show. The show, called The Dean’s List, airs on their college network mtvU. They wanted to put Carlos front-and-center because he’s the only Machine still in school, but we could all be on it and we could show off some BTTM videos. We also had to talk about the videos and our good ol’ alma mater Pace University.

Of course we said yes.

Make sure to check us out on mtvU next Tuesday at 2:00 PM EST (check your local listings!) for some cool music videos, some re-worked BTTM sketches, and all of us making complete asses out of ourselves. It’ll be a blast.

Sketchprov Festival @ The PIT

$5
People’s Improv Theater – 154 W. 29th St

We’re going to be doing an improv show, because the PIT thinks it will be funny to make sketch groups look like buffoons. It will be a freakin’ blast.

Online Nation this week too!

Hey, so it turns out we’re going to be on Online Nation this weekend, as well as next weekend.

Anyone remember when The State was on Jon Stewart’s You Wrote It, You Watch It? Awesome.

NEW VIDEO – Geico: The O.J. Simpson Robbery Scoop

Just how much money has O.J. made robbing people? Our new video investigates!

I don’t want to build it up too much, but next week you’re in for a treat. We finally filmed the Paul Syracuse-penned epic “Thomas’s First Birthday,” over this past weekend. It’s going to be a good one. Make sure to check back next week!

Online Nation presents “Dating For Dummies”

Our sketch How To Court A Woman was on the CW’s new show Online Nation tonight. It was presented as “Dating For Dummies” by “Reid from New York, NY”. Despite the funky naming (which surprised us all, despite what the other Machines might tell you), that was still us, and we were thrilled to be on the CW! For those of you who haven’t seen *ahem* Dating For Dummies, check it out:

Two more of our sketches (Cingular: Another Dropped Call and A Kidnapper Has Your Daughter!), will appear on the third episode of Online Nation, so make sure to tune in in two weeks!
