Sketchblock Thursday is almost here!
It’s at the National Comedy Theater (347 W. 36th St., between 8th & 9th), the former home of Sketchblock Sundays. I wonder if they have anything to do with each other.
The great and friendly Chris and Paul Show, The High Scores, and maybe Chocolate Cake City will be performing. We will have some new material, some old material, and some old material played off as new material, with me in it. That’s right. All five machines!! Be there! What are you even waiting for?!
Get in line now!

P.S. I just wanted to add that this video features the very talented Meg DeFrancesco (from the The Colbert Report and the Upright Citizens Brigade). Thanks a lot, Meg!

Take Aim is top feature on youtube.com/comedy right now! Not bad for about two hours of work. Plus the tiny spaceship I made out of toilet paper tubes…
Cheers,
Ballard

Hey! Check it out! We’ve been invited to perform in the Philadelphia Sketchfest! The festival runs from December 3-5, and although we haven’t been given our exact performance time yet, we’d like to encourage our fans in the area to mark off all three days on your calendar–it’s going to be a great time!
We’ll update you with our specific showtime as we get more information!

New Video Mondays are back, Baby, and the first of our new weekly videos is here!
A documentary about a plutocrat who, due to economic circumstances, is forced to beg for thousands and thousands of dollars. Directed and edited by Ballard C. Boyd. Enjoy and make sure to check to back next Monday for a brand new video!
Man alive, it feels good to say that again!

We’ve had some problems behind the scenes that have delayed the start of new weekly videos. No, I’m not talking about the fact that Paul and I got into a fistfight on the 36th floor balcony and that Will had to tranq us both, or that Matt got pregnant (again), or even that Christina, Carlos and Ballard had to go visit their home planet for a quarp or three. No, none of that.
Paul’s old camera exploded (don’t worry, he was able to throw it into the river just in time to save The City). The mayor, grateful for Paul’s selfless efforts to protect the people of Manhattan, gave Paul a new HD video camera (“Betsy”). Unfortunately, Betsy uses a type of media from the future, and no computer from our time could understand it’s complex data. Luckily, as a traveler of the sands of time myself, I took Paul to the future, where we were able to grab a computer from a Grand Time Wizard/Director of Photography who, frankly, seemed to have bigger problems on his hands if you know what I mean (hippopotamus people). Anyway, with the future-computer in hand, we arrived back in the present.
With his new computer in hand, Paul has been working vigilantly with Ballard to get the last few weekly videos we shot edited. This is important because we’ll be airing them reverse chronologically. I don’t know what that means, really, as I am only a level 3 Time Wizard. I think it means new videos are coming soon, though.
Oh, and check it out: I saw the future and we’re going to be performing on the 27th of August at the new Sketch Block Thursday! In addition to performing with our buddies Chocolate Cake City, we will be performing some new material, some old material, and some old material played off as new material, with me in it. That’s right.
