Discount Tickets For The Festival This Saturday!

If you haven’t bought your tickets for Salon des Refusés yet, then you’re in luck! The theater is now offering a special discount! Tickets are now only $5 to see any block of the show, or $12 to see it all! That’s chump change! We kick off the 8pm block this Saturday night, so put Mr. Lincoln to work and buy those tickets with the discount code “accepted.

  1. Poor, poor Abraham Lincoln. I’ve reduced him from one of–if not the–greatest presidents in American history to pocket change. Although, I suppose he does get to be on a coin and a bill, and it was the bill I was talking about. So he should feel good about that.

Except, George Washington is also on two pieces of currency, and now that I think about it, so is Thomas Jefferson. And that’s not counting the gold presidential dollars, in which case both Washington and Jefferson are on three pieces of currency while Lincoln’s gold dollar hasn’t been released yet, so he’s only on two pieces of currency.

Even if you put all that aside, I then said to “put Mr. Lincoln to work,” as if he didn’t do enough during his lifetime to deserve some time off. Man, I’m sorry Abe.
